Gonna be mostly OOB , though there will be some inevitable tweaks given the age.

That might be old, but with a little TLC it turns into an excellent build Are you going tweak this ?

Welcome along one and all... Standard Tamiya fare for its time. I'm not going to bother sorting this tbh. In general, pretty painless, though this predates their internal polyhubs in the wheels. Instead, the wheels mount over an axel of sorts and are secured with a lovely vinyl hub . Not sure how they will take paint, but we shall see. Engine access hamdles are the standard Tamiya block, so I'm probably gonna replace them. Now then... dry fitting the turret to provide you all with a bit on an overview... the hull roof thickness is the exact sale as the tabs... so that will be a snip job. as for the shooty stick, it is, as you would expect a split down the middle set up, but Im going to try to use it. If it doesn't work, given what I actually paid for this, the cost of a replacement isn't too much.

Shooty stick is now on its second phase of filler, sanding and primer... I think I can see how this is going Engine access hatches... lumps removed so no choice but to replace them . 5 required so a minimum of 7 created from some copper wire and a flat faced pliers. Let's see what happens here then...

If I can avoid it I really do not want to use the vinyl tow hawsers, so it's off to the box of bits Bi go to see if I can cobble summit together. Also, the commanders hatch is secured using the same stuff, not liking it one bit, so some white stuff will be required here- given the size it should be "fun" Once that's sorted I can finally bring the turret together and progress( hopefully) to colourification. For this I'm going to finish her as KRIH C squadron mount "Caldera". Also in something of a departure for me I'm planning on a parade ground fresh finish and a simple base, saw the pin badge on evilbay for a few squids and thought the universe was telling me something

Thank you chaps. There are still a couple of small bit to be added, but I wanted to homogenised the whole thing so hit it with some Army Painter black primer, happy with the look so far. All just tacked together for now.
