Hello friends, it's time to relax now as this isn't about serious modeling.
It took me only three hours to build this
BIG FUN CARTOON TIGER I.

Now it's time for paint and something extra I'll try to sculpt to give it a personal touch.
Thanks for sending me two cool little kits brotha !!! Meng did a great job btw !
Best regards ! AG.

Thank you Boots and Pete. The past days I had to help my parents as they have health issues so I didn't have much benchtime. Today however I managed to apply a dirty wash consisting of ultramarine blue and burnt umber oils. I brushed it on generously and removed most of it after two hours.
This cartoon stuff is luvverly relaxing, you certainly should give it a go.

No wuz fella , stupid question time.......do you mix the blue and umber together and apply over both models or do you do the blue on the green and umber on the Tiger seperately.........i only asked coz that Tiger colour looks very nice indeed and wasn`t sure if it was a secret Guybro mix

A Guybro mix...now you make me laugh Bootsfella ! I used the same mix for the Tiger as well as the Sherman turret.

Ian, thank you mate ! The Tiger lower hull was given a mud slapping (pigments + plaster + acrylic resin + water). Unfortunately not much can be seen of it as the wheels are back on.
Detail painting is next.
Both beasts will be put on this unfinished display btw.

More Meng Toon subjects :
