Blimey thanks chaps…. Far from complete but getting there. So I’ve been busy with the painting. Needs a bit of weathering next.

While waiting for the paint to dry I began creating some white, chop in the water at the back of boat and along some of the side using kitchen roll soaked in clear acrylic water stuff. Im making this up as I go along so interested to know if what I’ve done so far it passes muster?

Si, it looks the part mate. I like the depth in the water and of course the boat has stolen my heart.

Thanks chaps, really appreciate the kind comments After giving it a pin wash, the ship was permanently fixed in place. Used a combination of single ply kitchen towel and acrylic to fill around the waterline and to create volume. Once dry it was touched up with some blue and white Vallejo paint.
Next steps will be to tidy up the tin as I’ve chipped some of the paint and got acrylic stuff on it.
