Tiger Model has also released a series of cartoon models recently. This is the Spitfire kit. The fit is perfect, not many parts, done in an hour. Its ready for paint.

I think it's time to pick another shelf queen from the...ehrm, shelf ?! The finished D-Day Higgins boat diorama asked a lot of my patience and therefor I've chosen this max relax small unfinished (read built, all six parts!!!) project. There's not much to say about it besides the fact that it won't be that special, however it's not a toon of just some fighter plane, it's a Spit, the holy grail from the skies, and that counts for something isn't it ?  Zo Paul and Ian and other ace bird builders, watch your back!  Soon this toon will spit in your neck! Today I went for a Zen painting stage. I didn't purchase the correct colours for it so a bit of mixing was necessary. The photo below shows the green a tad too yellow, nevertheless it's going to be vivid.  Tomorrow more office brushings. |

Thank you Joe. The instructions say XF 83 Medium sea grey, one I don't have so I mixed XF 18 Medium blue and Gloss White. I'm sure it's not a bang on right colour but I'm ok with it.   |
