Yep, that's rocking, you've got a great effect using the hair spray.
I still can't get over the length of the barrel!!

Time for a seriously dirty bottom . I have started the dirty bum party with Mig track wash on the springs, then a good covering with VMS coarse sand pigment being fixed in with their pigment fixer Alkyd Binder . The sand looks a tad dark at the moment, but that's only because it's still wet. Here's a small dried area with the real colour .

Pete, it's gonna get worse yet . Mack, yo yer be right there . Steve, appreciate your liking sir . Carl, this stuff sets good but, I used to much and it took about 48 hours to fully cure . But that was my fault and that of VMS. You can get a fluid from VMS called Universal weathering carrier, this mixed with the Alkyd stuff speeds things up. The mix is simple, 2 drops of Alykd to 1 drop carrier, so a two to one ratio. Then use a hairdryer and it's more or less minutes not hours . Right then I got back at the bottom today and that with vengence . First off I added some engine oil from Mig, then some scuffs with Humbrol metal cote 27003. I let this dry and then took a soft wire brush and scrubbed the bottom with it . After ( ) that I added some graphite powder and some Mig African dust pigments . Then it was up to the top of the hull . This got a wash with Mig NATO camouflage wash, which is a very dark green/brown almost black colour. This has been swiped off with a flat brush and cotton swabs, when this is fully dried I'll get it sealed with VMS matt again . Before anybody asks, yes I did manage to snap off the rear grab bar and two of the tread bars between the wheel arches . I just hope the repair work isn't too visible .

I've just had a read through the commanders addition of abrams squad and this would be at home with any of those. You're doing an awesome job, oh and I can't see any fixes
