Had me some time at the bench! Pretty much there with the bulk of the construction now, tracks and fenders for the most part left to do. The rear track guards are really deformed, looks like they were too soft when removed from the tooling has anybody had any luck truing up styrene? if so how did you go about it? Just hot water? as I've never had a lot of luck using this method previously. She's coming along!

Takin` shape very nicely indeed mucker...........bummer about the rear guards , i`ve used the hot water method before and had some reasonable success......i`ve also used a low heat from a radiator and left it a while with some weight on to flatten out flat stuff but shaped stuff would be tricky doing it that way tho, i`m sure you`ll win thru matey

Sorry for the slow update, got waylaid with work stuff, and picked up a shelf queen to progress with So the issue with the fenders was confined to the front sections, you see a lot of Churchills with these missing so problem solved! But big progress, yesterday afternoon I sat quietly with a cup of tea and cleaned and assembled....... stop the press!!!!! even fitted the tracks! Big hurdle for me that is!!! And quickly added the fenders! Adds a certain heft to the appearance now the tracks are on. Today saw the final details added to the Churchill and the first of major bridge components assembled, Its gonna be a biggy! More as and when!

Beautiful work. I always liked the lines of the Churchill tank; such a neat looking vehicle.
Best wishes,
Ian

Now that's looking grand, Vlad. You want to be careful with your heat source.........
Just sayin'.

Thanks chaps, progress is slow, but we are heading in the right direction JEFF what happened there? Well, ya see. I have a Halogen Lamp that I use to "slightly accelerate" the drying time of Paint and Primer. And, um, well, as you can see it develops a little bit of heat. Turned my Back for a second.................. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The build looks great.
Will you be painting them wheels and tracks in situ?
