M1s were rarely carried because of weight, was half looking at Takoms M60A1 with ERA but equally, i'm open to suggestions.

I think the one i had in mind is too heavy then They arn`t quick builds as iv`e found with the Faun.......one build becomes 3 if you add a package on the back , when i added the Gep to mine it turned into a long `ol build especially as all three are 3-tone camo, i`ve just stepped aside from it for the mo but it will return shortly to reach the finish line ...........especially now i know you have this on the go.......it`ll give me a much needed shove possibly

D9? Paladin? M88? Two M113? Some civilian construction machines (Hasegawa has a Hitachi line click HERE)? MRAPs? I saw a HEMTT some time ago. Stryker (any model)? Wow! Many, many possibilities!

Plenty of possibilities but few that really grab me. This combination was pretty much finished with by 1993 when the M1070 replaced it so whatever goes on the back needs to fit the timeline really. They are still used a little in some areas i believe.

I shouldn`t have looked at that link Marco Try to enter in Hobbysearch and type Hitachi in the search. After that, filter 1/35 scale. The last one you probably can't use because it only exists in Japan. It helps the disaster teams to remove and cut heavy debris after earthquakes. But they have a "normal" excavator as well. I like this type of cargo because bring a big splash of color to the build! And as they aren't to heavy or big you can put two on the trailer. Just my 2 cents. Sorry to hijack yer thread!

Wanna read something funny...not. I posted a web image of the kit because it was in transit and i knew it would be delivered today. Guess what? they sent the wrong ferkin kit! I got a really nice Soviet Missile Launcher instead. Pondered keeping it and changing the thread but no, will contact seller and get it sorted. I will keep you up to speed with developments but there will be a small delay. The irony? First time i have ever received an incorrect kit, one of the few times i have used a U.K. seller. Guess i will be buying from Hong Kong again after this...
