Chaps. Apologies for nasty picture but it was taken last night. Basic chassis components cleaned and assembled ready for assembly. With better light this morning, i popped it all together. Some of the location points are a little vague so take care. I was worried about alignment but if you start at the front where parts have very positive location points and then work steadily towards the rear, everything lines up nicely. As you can see, the tractor unit is going to be a decent size. Back with an update as soon as i can.

Thanks chaps. Most of the running gear is now in. The lift axle can only be built in the down position so some remodelling will be necessary if you want it raised. Ta.

Thanks chaps.
To be honest, much more cleanup than expected, lots of mould pips to remove. A couple of the sprues don't show all part numbers, fortunately the instructions include a sprue map.
On the upside, thoughtful moulding is present, air tanks for example are moulded as complete cylinders, no seams to remove. Fit is fine, not like Tamiya but good enough.

Thats good news with the tanks ......i`ve just spent ages sorting the two piece air tanks on the MAN truck and fuel tank.....but then ya expect that with Italeri, same with clean up etc

Yes HB are almost as good as tamiya but they do bring out some damn fine kits. I rate em highly as they are easy to build but do have nice detail

For what you get in the box, i think they are one of the best value manufacturers out there.
They are not afraid to tackle some less popular subjects and are rarely a mare to build.

Moving nicely along with this one Mence I agree with you about the HB kits, they go together well from what I've seen. Accuracy can be iffy on their aircraft though, same as Trumpy

Most tidy, Mence. Just for the record, I've not done a HB kit either.
