Right then time to revive this build from December '17 . As i had no pre-shade on here, I needed to get some colour variation going on . The only thing to do was add a post shade, I hope you likes . The next thing up were the road wheels . I shall never paint another wheel with a brush , I made a wheel mask out of plastic sheet and sprayed the IDF Sinai grey with my AB . ACW mushtys

I know your models are top shelf quality.
Quality work is time consuming.

Awesome!
Two points: I always go down the post-shading route now, I'm so heavy handed that the couple of times I've tried pre-shading, my base coat has completely obliterated it whereas I find post-shading much easier to control!!
I too am moving over to the spray method for wheels, on many modern vehicles it would appear they don't always mask too carefully so any over-spray can actually look very realistic
Great work Boss

At last some else who has accepted the fact that road wheels aren't usually cleanly masked . I cannot understand why this is a point losing fact at model competitions. Anyone who has served on tanks or wheeled vehicles knows that when a repaint is on the books, everything gets its fair share of paint. So if it isn't removed before hand it looks like this afterwards :

I never judge a model down on running gear overspray....especially on Post-WW2 stuff...very common
