This will be my entry for the Classic Wings GB. With only about 117 parts, I’m hoping to get this one done in time.

What, 117 parts ? Is it made of Lego ? Another very classic bird for the group build Joe . I thought there was more in that kit than that, but hey, those 117 parts are very nicely detailed indeed

That’s what attracted me to the kit. I don’t want to get bogged down with a large parts count.

Wow... Great Spit ! It might be the best 1/32nd Spitfire kit, it will be great to see it done. A few days ago when I posted the other versions coming from Kotare, someone posted a build review, it was the first part from the whole build. I saw most of them, there are some very good tips to watch out during the build.

This is a really nicely detailed kit. It’s already had a lot of positive feedback, and I can see why. I started by giving the sprues a light coat of white Tamiya fine primer before removing any of the parts. This made the details pop out even more. Sprue A. Cockpit details, also nicely detailed tyres. Sprue B. Instrument panel, and two types of seat. With and without moulded harness. Sprue D. Main wings. Sprue E. Fuselage and wing spar.

It really is a well detailed kit. Here are a few parts which go to make up the cockpit. These include the instrument panel, lower fuselage interior, the gun heating duct, the two types seat, the frame to which the rudder bar and control tubes are attached, the lower armour plate, and the sides of the seat. All nicely detailed. I want to start with the seat with the moulded harness. If they look ok after painting, I’ll go with them. If not, I’ll get an aftermarket set and use the other seat provided.

Lovely interior Joe . What are your worries about the seat? Is it the top harness?
