Thank you very much Boots!
That snow stuff is good, really differences between the products, some look like fresh snow, some like half melted, and 2 different sprinkle on products.

Well you certainly made it work Bert and something i might be brave enough to attempt..........some of the best slush/wintery effects i`ve seen. What products are these again?...........i probably missed it somewhere

Thanks everyone!
Boots, its all AK: Terrain Snow: looks like shaving cream, for basic snow layer; Snow Sprinkles: spreadable for old snow or melted snow; Ice Sparkles: looks like salt to be sprinkled on the snow sprinkles gives an icy effect; Snow Microballoons: also like salt to be sprinkled onto the terrain Snow, gives the effect of fresh new snow.

Covered the top with AK muddy ground an AK wet mud, some treebark and pebbles as rocks, DAS clay to create the track marks (still needs mud colour) and some first bit of snow..

I like how other modellers find solutions to create realistic effects. This approach really sounds like you have a plan.

I can't identify the kits but I can say that this is a really different twist. It's not often you see Mercs in the snow!
