Okay chaps, for next trick I shall attempt to make half decent replica of the "Faun L900 mit Sonderanhänger 115" . The kit is from Das Werk, this company is German one and they have incorporated Takom for parts. The kit is designed by Custom Scale and Modelbau König (hence Das Werk). Here we go then , the start of the Faun lower frame.

Looks like we need build a staircase outside with more naughty steps on it . Okay fellas, I cracked on with the rear differentials and axles, and discovered a slight problem . If you going to use the heavy loaded suspension, then the axles won't meet up with diffs . It means you're gonna have lengthen the differential drive . Das Werk should have added different parts for this, but I guess that would have been a price increase. Anyway it's not too much of a biggy, you chop off the middle drive bit and add a rod which is 10.8mm in length to compensate this . I thought the main drive from the engine to the diffs would need shortening, but oddly enough it didn't. More tomorrow hopefully, if I have time. Got a very important Brexit appointment first, we'll see how I feel after that .
