Boots, cheers mushty . I believe you can back in now Pete, what pleases you, pleases me fella . Steve, murky buckets mucker Marco, many thanks indeed my Brazillobro Ian, well appreciated my friend . Now stop getting influenced from the others . Jeff cheers mucker, actually it's about 4 pints of beer long Okay laddies, the gluing has now ceased . Yes I have finished the build phase on here, apart from a few bits 'n' bobs I wanna paint separately . There are one or two issues with the instructions, despite the correction sheet that is. But nuttin too troublesome. Oh yes, the winch cable needs to be added, none in the kit. Next up, primer and hopefully that will be tomorrow. Now where's that load gone ?

Impressive looking build, Paul. Also looks like you have a shelf-space killer with this one.
Best wishes,
Ian

Killer Diller, PB. What are you going to use to color the Cable?

Boots you could call it that . Jeff, I was going to use Humbrol enamel steel coat, but the ferkin' hitch eye went wrong . Now I'll get a tarp over the winch . Anyway as today didn't go as planned , i.e. no priming, I started on the load . Here's part one: I've had this old Revell kit in the stash for many years now, I have also collected some AM parts for it . I like these old Revell/Italeri kits, they go together well and the detail holds with any Dragon kit. The AM stuff I have is an RB Barrel for the Flak, some new front wheels with a civvy pattern tyre and some 3D printed tracks from a Spanish company who's name I can't remember . Being an older kit the build is quite speedy and simple . More soon chaps

Great choice for the load Paul, it’ll add a lot of interest for sure. I’m still amazed just how big this thing is/was!

Boots, Pete, Steve, many thanks my dear chaps . As much as i like these old school kits OOB, there is always room for a tad improvement . I dropped the kit mesh for some left over Eduard mesh . In place . Kit wheels versus AM wheels . As the AM wheels are supposed to be spares, I had to add the hub and the attachment bolts, these are white rod accompanied with Meng bolt heads from their large and small set . Back soon with some DIY

A little work on the Flak . I decided to scratch the armour plates for the Flak, the kit parts are 1mm thick, so I used 0.3mm plastic sheet to make some new ones . The good ole Meng bolts have also been added and the RB barrel

I really like it when a good old kit is improved so well. Great value modelling!
