I am taking notes here Ian  . So you find it easier to clean the flash when the parts are assembled. It does make sense to me now, as I have always tried to clean them up before hand, and usually end up with a nasty hollow area  .

Yes, I actually leave it on there until after assembly. That way the base of the flash can provide a foundation for any filler.

More learning stuff here for us beginners Ian  . Nicely clamped too, just shows what Washi tape can do, and at a cheapo price also

Thanks, Paul! Yeah, everything mated together pretty well. The intake lips just needed some clamping because they are so thin and didn't want to lay down.

Shaping up nicely now Ian B)
Great tip on the bracing rod, I’ve used this before on larger kits to give some strength to the fuselage at the wing roots as not many kits provide wing spars.

Thanks guys!!!! Yeah, there are two or three assembly steps where some simple adjustments have to be made that will spare a lot of headache later.
