The weathering looks good indeed. Very subtle and realistic.

Thanks, guys! Steve, the Pledge Floor Wax should be crystal clear in a clear bottle.

Ah right, I have some Klear that is nearly gone and the replacement is milky in colour but dries clear. I’ll experiment and see what happens

Thanks Boots! I worked on "Gypsy 207" this week and made some good progress on her. I got the landing gear installed and everything fit well there. Hasegawa was kind enough to provide early, mid and late style white metal wheel hubs in the kit so I went with the mid-life ones. They were painted white and hit with the Pledge/Acrylic Black paint wash to bring out the detail. The burner cans were installed as well and they fit nicely. However, I had to shave several millimeters off the boat tail because the boat-tail is too wide which in turn pushes out the cans which turn screws up the alignment of the outside sponsons which go on later. The swing-wing air bladders were painted with several shades of grey to weather them and they were installed and the fit was spot-on. Next I added the vertical stabs and you can see the FS35237 striping where the VF-32 markings will go. I will get the wings in next and get her ready for decals. Best wishes, Ian

Thanks so much, guys. USN jets in low-viz paint are great subjects for weathering.
Best wishes,
