Steve, Wouts, Boots, many thanks fellas . Right then, today I gave the beast a final covering of Russian Earth pigment from Mig. This was a straight tap water mix, which I then smeared all over the lower hull, tracks, and the flat top areas. After it had dried I scrubbed it back to leave a well scummed up looking tank . After that I painted the sights, added the tow cables and a tarp to the front, and now I consider this the Ferdinand finished .    More in the Gallery chaps . |
