Watcha chaps, I shall be building this oldie from Italeri . Despite the box saying "World of Tanks", it is in fact the old kit from 1973 ? Well whatever, it's old and should be a simple build with a couple of new additions from RB Models and Hobby Boss tracks.

Boots, Jeff, welcome to the club fellas . Just in time, here's my start . I had to make the drivers/operators armour plate from White sheet, the kit part was more or less 2.5mm too short . The engine decks grills have also been backed off, the ball mount for the 88 got a good sanding and a coat of Mr. Surfacer over the join. Also the RB 88 has been put together and dry fitted . By the looks of the drivers and operators hatches , these will need scratching also. They're covered in knock out pin holes . Back soon chaps

a 1973 kit? You brave man Looks good btw, and so fast, one of the perks of the smaller scales. Ferdinand/Elefant have a special place in my heart. One of my first models ever and first article in a magazine ^^. Looking forward to see the final bits of plastic fly on and than the real cool stuff: paint and weathering!

I remember that one Wouts It goes even further than that, it's because of an Elefant built on MilMod I found the site. Forgot the chaps' name who built it...think we called him Boo over there...not sure if he still models. So without it, no me around here

Cheers chaps, and no the beer wasn't spiked . Wouts it looks like I'm going to have to be careful what I do then eh? What a grand way to start a modelling life . Well as Jeff has been honest enough to sshow the real state of his JT build, I thought I'd do the same . I have been working on the hatch covers though, which I can now call done I was just about to start on the gun crutch, when I had a Tamiya Extra Thin experience . I knocked the ferker over and ruined my cutting mat ;- |&%"?)"(&$)"="/&%!(( Can't do much more in the cave today, it stinks
