It's more than that Boots, I've been in the Achilles and that has an even bigger breech than this

Your work on the breech and the treadplate is incredibly realistic. Really well done.

Ian thank you very much Sir . Haven't gotten much done today, just sorted out the .50 as Tamiya still a very basic one in their kits. I've opened the fore and rear sights, added more shape to the handles, removed the seam and drilled the end of the barrel . (didn't have a 0,3628571428571429mm drill bit so I used a 0.4mm, hope no-one notices ) Still need to add the firing switch (trigger) below the handles, I'll do that tomorrow .

You could have borrowed my 0,3628571428571429mm drill bit if i`d have known.............think you might have got away with the 0.4 tho

That looks very nice me `ol mucker , figs look good too Yeah it is a pain trying to get to the undercrackers when they`re in situ , tis a bit snug (again!!) .........and it is a pain having to paint and weather all of them seperately ..but....it is defo the better option of the two i reckon, blending the outer casings in won`t be an issue when we join up all the dots Consider yaself free from the `naughty step`...........that 0,3628571428571429mm drill bit was actually a 0,3628571428571428mm drill bit so it was 0.000000000000000.1 too small........my bad

Cheers Ian . Well today has been a tad trying on man and machine . My train home was cancelled without any info as to why, so I didn't get home until 16:00. I then decided to to get the OD going down, but with the temperatures at 36° and me forgetting to close my window this morning, I had roughly 28° in my room . I couldn't get the mix of paint to thinner and pressure right for ages, and when I finally did it still took me a hour to get a basic coat on the M10 . Tomorrow is going to be even hotter, they say 39°. But even so I shall give another coat of OD to sort out the rough parts.

Nice bit of OD even with the surging temps. It's pretty toasty here too

Pete, Boots, cheers fellas . Well the temperature is bobbing around at 38 - 39° and it ain't funny I did manage to get some lightened OD colours on today though, extremely thinned and very high pressure got them through the AB. I also slapped some colour on the sandbags, tarps and backpacks. I used a brush for these but even that was very trying, the sodding paint was drying so fast on the hairy stick it's unbelievable . I also primed the tracks with Mig One Shot brown oxide primer . Next up will be a gloss coat, then the decals. But I might just wait for a break in the weather for those

That looks freakin` fab mate , yeah i havn`t attempted the AB this past coupla days.....just in case , as for the hairy brush stuff......i`ve started using a wet pallet method with the thin foam dish washer sponges......that works well even in warmer temps

Cheers Boots . Will give that wet pallet thing a try
