Thanks Paul and Joe! Yes the seats are really nicely molded and I thought it was nice that True Details cast the belts in different positions on both seats. Some companies cast both the seats the same in a pack and the belts lay identical.

Ian

Thanks for stopping back in, guys. Boots, this one had been sitting on the work bench for awhile and I had a few issues I had to surmount with the Revell kit, lack of cockpit and decent seats being one of them.
Regards,
Ian

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Minor update on the F-4G as I have finished the sidewall details for the cockpit since they had to be scratch built (kit had none, whatsoever). I also have finished the scratch built ALQ-131 (Deep Version) ECM pod which was the preferred pod for the Spangdahlem SAM Hunters of the 52nd TFW. Next will be some primer. Regards, Ian

I made some more progress on the F-4G. I am going with the standard mid-late 80's 52nd TFW SAM-Killer load-out of two AGM-88 HARMS (from Academy F/A-18C kit), two AIM-7M Sparrows (from Tamiya F-4 kit) and the scratch-built ALQ-131 jammer pod. The missiles will be depicted as live rounds so I painted on the yellow/brown live ordnance bands and will mask those sections off. I got the scratch-built cockpit sidewalls painted and added a wash of Pledge Floor Wax tinted with Acryl black paint. I also added this same wash to the ejection seats as well. Getting close, finally......... Regards, Ian
