Don't feel bad about the timing, Boots. I might have the Nimrod done by 2021.

Si and Ian.........thanks fellas Well i`m calling it done and i think i`ll stick with what i know to be honest......it`ll sit at the back of the modelling shelf for now, not particularly happy but at least it didn`t get binned or shelved for good, i ended up doing more damage doing the last few bits and had to mend stuff (cabane wires ) Anyway.......

I think if i ever attempt another wingy i`ll stick with a `Toon` one
Enjoy or larf whichever suits

Think you are being a little harsh on yourself Boot's.
Looks tidy enough on my screen.

Boots, fine addition to your collection. Really turned out great and it's not an easy build considering it's a bi-plane to start with and throw in pre-war colors along with a silver finish.

I must say Boots, this does look rather spiffing indeed fella . As the lads have said, you are being way to harsh on yourself..... Silver aircraft are bloody tricky to pull off, multi coloured pre-war ones even more. Put her in a good place fella, you have done a good job here and she deserves to be seen

Thanks mucker ........i have put her somewhere she can be seen..........next doors garden Yeah i`ll go with a `plane` one next time rather than a multi-coloured swapshop version

I think you’ve made a terrific job of this mate....certainly nothing to be ashamed of ! I think it’s good to move out of your comfort zone now and then, if only to practice some new techniques. Don’t be too hard on yourself....I’d be more than happy with that result
