The build looks really good! I like projects like this where it's already built and you can jump right into the painting and weathering.
Best wishes,
Ian

I'll look forward to seeing you finish this shelf queen (of which I have a few ). I made this model when it was first released complete with working motor. If I recall correctly, it runs at a scale speed of 6mph! It was when I was making it, I discovered a relation of mine was killed whilst serving with the 11tg Tank Battalion. He died at The Battle of Canal Du Nord on the 27th September 1918.

Yes mate, love the look of these fellas. I'd like that standing figure to accompany my ambulance

Whilst I wait for some paint to arrive, yeap I've done it again! The figures have had an initial coat of vallejo panzer aces British tank crew 317 as a base for further shades to go on. Looking at the standing figure you can clearly see what an excellent job the sculptor did of the splinter face mask around the figures neck. I'm looking forward to painting that.

Good Lord, I hadn't noticed that face mask till now . I am sure you'll make a couple of excellent dudes from these two, as always . At least the lack of paint will slow you down for a while

Yup I never saw that mask either.
We'll have to see who's paint arrives first

Now the paint has arrived I've now sprayed the model following the suggested mix from tamiya which is 1 part XF 52 & 1 part XF 55. then as usual I lightened this with more XF 55 before finishing off with a drop or two of white. I then used tamiya smoke to add a few dark areas. It looks really pale at the moment but will get darker during weathering.
