Finally my bases arrived yesterday so I've now sorted one out spraying the edges primer then adding some wood effect using oils. It now needs to dry for a while before the groundwork goes on.

Today I've been slinging pigments at the model and base. First up I mixed some VMS pigs with binders and slapped that on the base. then using binders and weathering carrier I started on the model. Finishing off with some oil stains and metal contact points on the tracks I think I'm pretty much done on the weathering front now. So just the base to finish off probably in the morning.
