Small update on the Olifant. The lower hull and running gear are on these entirely green and I used the C254 Buffalo Green from the Modern SADF Hataka Paint set. Once again, the paint sprayed beautifully with just a few drops of lacquer thinner needed. I will let this cure up and then get started on the wheels and tracks. Regards, Ian

Thanks guys! I have been really pleased with these Hataka Paints so some more sets may be in the forecast. Not used them myself, I stick to my tried and tested Tamiya, but from things I’ve read they are either really good or absolutely awful. Much the same as with any paint as far as I can tell.

Thanks, Paul! These were the Hataka Lacquer so I have no idea how their acrylics do.

Thanks so much guys! Robbo, I think the turret size is due to the fact they basically fitted the new modular armor directly over the old Centurion Turret.

Beautiful camouflage work man! I like it!
BTW, what is the "squeaky bum club"? I'm not familiar with that term here across the Pond.
Man, I wish someone would release one of these in 1/72 scale!
