Well, big update on the Olifant as the camo has been applied. All the paint was from the Hataka SADF set and I started off with the base coat of MRG Stone. I then applied the Military Dark Earth brown which was followed by the Buffalo Green. Each shade was post shaded slightly before the next one was applied. These tanks look very well maintained in the photos so there won't be much wear-and-tear and I just went with some slight fading from the African sun. I used FROG Painters Tape for the masking as the Olifant has hard edge camo and the tape worked perfectly. It's very close to Tamiya tape in consistency but a much bigger roll. Like Paul's Henschel, pulling off the masking tape on the camo was really fun and like opening a new bottle of Scotch. I was more than impressed with the Hataka Paint, as it laid down like glass and I had no clogs during the spraying. I have a few overspray spots to address but I am about ready to move on to wheels and tracks. Stay tuned....

That sure is a big turret, makes the gun look small

Thanks so much guys! Robbo, I think the turret size is due to the fact they basically fitted the new modular armor directly over the old Centurion Turret.
