I am getting the seams cleaned up on the Nimrod and this is moving closer to the primer phase. I also got the cockpit glass masked with Washi tape and installed on the nose. As you can see, my screw-up with the spine joint and the resulting shim saved the day (inadvertantly) as now the glass section mates perfectly to the fuselage. If the fuselage had gone together as it was supposed to, it would have left about 2mm of cockpit glass hanging over the side on the left and right so that would have been a real mess later. I just have a few more spots to sand out and then it will be primer time. Regards, Ian

Got this to paint already Ian? The Hemp scheme is one of the best to adorn a large jet too

Yes, I agree Steve. That Hemp and Gray scheme looks cool. I like it on the Victor, too.

Duke, Marco, thanks and sorry for the late response. Still getting caught back up after this horrible last six weeks. I got a primer coat on the Nimrod but I still have some spots to work on. I also have to do some more work on the wing root as that has been the weak spot of the kit so far. However, the panel lines look really good under paint and I don't have much sanding to do on the other spots. Stay tuned, gents. Regards, Ian
