"Foxy Killer" is a great choice, Tim. She looks great! Flew some pretty hairy JP-233 runway denial missions in the first few days of Desert Storm, if I remember correctly.

If not for the masking on the windscreen, I'd have thought this was already done; it was really done that well. Way to go!

Excellent result mate, although looks to be slightly difficult to photograph! Can't beat a gulf war tornado and this one's a cracker.

Tim, love the GR.1! Also, weathering on the tail is perfectly fine as the RAF and Italian Tornados got extremely heavy soot build-up on the vertical stab during Desert Storm. Some even had the bottom 1/3 of the tail almost completely blackened because of the exhaust stains. Here's "Foxy" after she got back to England, pink and dirty.

Thanks Ian,
I have that picture for reference also, which is why the leading edge of the tail fin has a yellow stripe on it. It looks like there should also be the same colour applied to the leading edges of each wing. 3 panels each side. Mine can be "FK" shortly after arrival in theatre so more visible. That would be my excuse as I am not that confident of replicating her when she got back.

Really nice result fella, the Tonka is a firm favourite of mine and you’ve done it well.

I agree, Steve. The Tornado is a gorgeous jet. Tim's build is making me want to build another one.🤣🤣
