Glacis progressed with more steps and hinges for the large hatch.... Some details added to lower glacis.... More interior details with steering levers added, hydraulic motor and the inner bulkhead got it's vent trunking..... Suspension; Drive casings and Idler mounts glued, swing arms dry-fitted, intention is to assemble the tracks as a whole but make them removable for separate painting and weathering before attachment to the finished lower hull..... More grand progress, Neems. I take it you're going to go with the Box Art for the paint job.? I'll get my Coat.

Tonight's brief session was all about making a start on the upper superstructure which houses the on-board water tank and the jet mounts......oh and the wheels..... Unfortunately I just checked my refs and the work done tonight is completely wrong so I'll be re-jigging that next time......what a twot! AC&?W

LMFAO Brief session. What's a quicky look like in your book then ? Very nice indeed for an intermission . Or even a beer and nuts .

Thanks y'all! Well, after a visit from me lil' mucker this morning, (who came bearing Avenger dec-sheet shaped gifts ) I got back to the bench and managed to get back to where I was last night and then a bit beyond....... That's better! ....and then I made a start on the water tank.......thanks Big Wind designers....it's got 13 sides! Anyhoo rather than finish it off I thought I'd show the main construction and leave a couple of the panels roughed. As always this was constructed from 0.8mm sheet using CA entirely, the angled panels are essentially just offcuts that plug the resultant holes, the 'skill' comes form the filing and sanding after which will hopefully become apparent once this is finished off, next time..... Ah now if I think carefully and try to use my brain to remember the non existent pics of the wrong parts from yesterday and, compare those with these from today I think I can actually see the difference . Looks darned fine Dicky
