Cheers chaps, Managed to hack the rear hatch out. Bit of a mission because I need to buy a handle for the jewellers piercing saw blades rather than holding it in the pin vice...
I think that’s the last bit of chopping up now o.O

Miniart have done good with this kit and it’s been an absolute pleasure so far. Carried on with it over the course of the day...
It was all balanced together for a cheeky picture.....more to come but nearly there now. Gotta say the detail on this is bloody good!

A‘noon gents, Not much bench time over the week and what time I did have was spent re-doing the PE on the tranny and trying to figure out how to scratch build the lip on the rear that the access hatch would bolt onto. Cut out a couple of large rings from plastic card to give a washer shape then punched out some 2mm discs and punched a 1.1mm hole in the centres.
Punching semi-circles into the large washer shape allowed me to install the smaller rings into place. Had to cut a very thin ring to insert into the rear plate to tidy it up as my cutting was a bit wonky
Next job is to work out where the fuel tanks go in the engine compartment and look into painting the engine/transmission.

Nice addition that Si . I think the internal fuel cells sit where the side engine grills are and extend towards the rear

Round shapes are difficult to fit and you did it.

Evening gents, thank you for your continued support....greatly appreciated Not much bench time this week but managed a bit of etch work this morning. Two of the external equipment boxes, the shovel and the saw. also managed to begin assembling the tracks. They are in sections for easy painting and I’ll join them up and position the front tensionera to suit once painting is underway. Seems a long way off at the moment! Hope to show more progress with the next update. The bench is a little busy as I’m finishing off a Pz IV shelf queen I built about 9yrs ago, when I started sticking plastic together!
Thanks for looking in chaps and happy Saturday night to you ....
