I love this kind of detailed weathering......each layer you put down is like a whole new blank one for the next stage,as for dull comfort zone......i don`t think you have one of those fella if i`m honest......not from an onlookers point of view anyway

Guy, this is just amazing. Great how-to on layered weathering and I am learning a lot here.

Beautiful paint work AG, the layers are adding so much each time it’s great to watch the progression

Beautiful paint work AG, the layers are adding so much each time it’s great to watch the progression It's all in the layers my friend, I think it's one of the easiest ways to get the worn look of such a forgotten tank. The paint texture grabs the dark wash and adds even more effect/depth to it.

Yesterday a dark wash and a pinwash were brushed on. I used ultramarine, burnt umber and burnt sienna (20/70/10 ratio). I pinwashed with extra burnt sienna in the mixture to make a start with the rust effects. Today this was dry so I moved on with something I've never done until now...a tag of Armorguy, AG. The old and worn paint layer contrasting with newer ones is interresting to me. I hope you like it. More to come btw.
