Thanking you. This was my first go at a diorama with figures only in 1/48. I did it Last year. It’s a nice little scene with quite a bit going on considering the size and scale. It’s an officer training cadres and was the first time to use tamiya grass and some twigs from the park.
Considering my limited experience at the time, it is a job well done and tells a nice little story.

Someone is going to be on a charge for leaving their weapon unattended while they take a dump!!!!! Seriously though, my first attempt at a water feature but the stuff just soaked into the modeling clay.

I’ve got the heads on now, as you can see. A bit more painting - cap badges and like. But before that, all the uniforms are the same colour so going to lighten up a jacket here and trousers there to give them the sun bleached look. The 2 in the middle are Panzer Art, the leuitenant looks the business. Monty still needs his ‘tache painting.

Thanks everyone. In part it is because of a new kolinski red sable brush.

So after a bit of weathering and highlighting I am this far.
Bit too much dust on the guy on the left, but he is the driver. And Monty has a new jumper.

Are you eye balling me son? No sarge!!!! After a couple of weeks, the heads had gone manky so they needed doing again. This time I went for the eyeballs. The better quality figures are a lot better than the others. I will put them in a more prominent position on the dio. After seeing snipersmudge’s camo jackets. My uniforms need a reappraisal, too.
