I’ve sorted out the hand issue as you can see. Used some blue on the casualty so there’s more of a contrast. Been looking at bloods. Seen a dark red wash which may work. I’ll have another look tomorrow. in the meantime here’s the latest.  |

After some washes and detail highlights I decided the casualty was too pale so used some Tamiya figure accent on it and I am at this stage.  Just got the blood to do. |

Now, I’ve not done that many figures but the pair that came with the fine molds kit are the best I have ever seen. More like after market figures than what you would expect from a kit. See for yourself.  The detail is amazing. I will really go to town on these two. Watch this space!!!! I’m lucky because I’ve got snipersmudge’s Japanese figures to go on!!!! |

Nice development Tommy. I'm in a similar ace myself still trying to fine tune the flesh painting but I think I'm getting to a technique that works for me.

Thanks Ian. Spent a couple of back breaking, eye straining hours painting the JGSDF camo pattern on the figures. you can see what colours and brush used. Not up to snipersmudge standards yet, but getting there.
