Cheers for the kind words chaps . I have been working on the figures since Friday, I also have a very good guide to help me through this . Guy, thanks up front for your help my friend. Just gonna have to try hard to make sure it wasn't a wasted effort . I still have a long way to go, but I am quite satisfied with what I have till date . The middle figure hadn't been attacked yet, this was a test shot to see where things were going. Any comments or critique will gladly appreciated chaps, but remember these are still early days

Yes indeed. Something I have never done. ......... or at least not yet.
Tracks that is.
One thing about figures, though, if you get the heads on you have a better understanding of how it all looks together. Arguments for both sides, I just think it’s easier with heads on.

I like what you show us Paul. The flesh tones look good already.

Tommy, cheers dude . I find it easier to paint the heads separate, I have more room for moving around that way . I don't think it will be long before you tackle some AM tracks either . Guy, many thanks indeed Sir , without your guidance I wouldn't have gotten this far I'm now at a the stage where things start to scare me, as I'm not sure how not to screw up the next step . Jeff, well appreciated fella . As you say, just keep moving onwards and sideways . I did a little more on the NBC suits today, as well as adding some dirt to running gear and lower hull. The tracks have also been painted and are awaiting pigment treatment .

The torsos look good Paul. Maybe just a tad more highlighting and deep shadowing on the folds?

Cheers Guy, yes the folds will get darker later. Highlighting though will take a back step on these, the suits didn't fade at all. The material was very tough but flexible, as it was made to withstand nuclear, biological and chemical environments. I might just add a little highlighting to very top of the folds but nothing more

Nice work indeed Paul, yes I agree some very subtle highlights on folds and say the edges of the pouch would be just the job I'd say.

Looking all rather good Paul. The faces look very good. The dirt on the lower hull looks natural as well.

Doing a dam site better on your figs than i am mate.....the facial detail on mine isn`t the best to paint and define.......also....there`s me thinking half a face would be easier to paint than a whole one........i beg to differ

Than you kindly chaps . I've done a tad more on the heads today, also the vehicle has been glossed and locked away to dry . The left cheek of the driver, is too sandy , well under macro it is. I'll sort that shortly. I'm really worried about the eyes, these I shall try to tackle tomorrow. First though I'll seal in what is done so I don't screw everything else up

looking good mate, I never really worry about eyes especially in this scale but find dark shadows work for me. Look back at my figures and you will see I never paint eyes.

As Pete said, don't worry about the eyes. I never painted eyes in my 54mm figures too.
