I guess I'll get this started. I'll be building Tamiya's 1/35 Kubelwagen Type 82 as the ambulance variant. It should be pretty easy...it's essentially a stretcher placed across the passenger side front and back seat areas. For the stretcher I'll be using a stretcher from an old Dragon Medic set. It's a bit hard to see but I placed the stretcher atop the parts tree.
It's a Tamiya kit so it should be a pretty simple build. I have never built this kit, though I have built the older Dragon boxing...which was the venerable Bego kit ...itself a rebox of a Hasegawa kit. I'll probably start adding in some of the planned diorama bits such as figures and such.

Nice idea. I’ve made the 1/48 a couple of times. Should be nice, quick and fun to build.

Good idea Alex. The stretcher shows up just fine in your photo.

A quick update...
The build started great....this kit really a beauty. Even for its size, it's I began building back at the start date. Assembly was going together really good. I figured it'd be a quick build....even quicker than i had expected.

Assembly was basically finished. I went and shot a quick coat of gunship gray to the underside/running gear and interior. I shot the windscreen frame and wheels...and so on. Note the yellow arrow...it's the dash and steering wheel.

So I wait for the paint to dry. Then I grab the dash and begin painting. It looks like crap so I decide to repaint it. And I decide to wait before any progress shots simply because there's not much to show. Plus I didn't want to show my nasty looking dash paint attempt. I set it aside for a bit. A couple of weeks pass and I get back to work. The sprue section with the dash and I have no idea where I put the section of sprue with the dash and steering wheel. I've been looking for it for the past 4 weeks.
I know I'll find it....and when I do I will remember putting it where I did...wait for...so I wouldn't misplace it. Isn't that how that usually works out?

Sorry I'm not giving up on it or any thing. I'll continue the search. If I don't find it...well I have an old Dragon VW (Bego/Hasegawa rebox) that has a dash that might work. Of course...I'll find the missing one after I rip out the donor one.

Nice progress , despite your mislaying of things Alex . Happens to me too dude, also I tend to do worse and through stuff in the bin, 'cause I think I didn't need it

I’m almost guaranteed to lose at least one part of a build at some point!

It'll turn up when your not looking for it.
I looked at my model T the other day and there was a wheel missing, I went mad but found it straight away on the floor. Funny how no one knows how it got there

Well...I found it.
Not really sure how it got in a Takom BMW kit box...quantum vortex or maybe a wormhole. Only reason I looked was I remembered there was a figure in there I wanted to look at to see if I could use it for something. So I'm back on track.

Plastic boxes are a Mystery. And I agree, that Tamyia kit is a little gem. Perfect fit, easy build !!
