Thanks, gents! Well, primer is on the TA-4J and although it was a limited run kit, construction was pretty painless and went together really well. I just have one or two pits on the finish to clean up and then it will be time for some Tamiya White.

Onwards and upwards. I applied the overall white top coat using Tamiya XF-2 Flat White, which I think is one of the best white paint options out there. Lays down very smooth and evenly. No masking needed either since the bays are white as well. I will let this cure up and then it will be time for the trim using Mission Models Red.
