Thanks chaps, the base has now been sprayed and the first round of pigments have been added to the model. Here I used a combination of VMS pigments & water and pigments & life color liquid pigments. All have worked well to give a nice dark base. I've not gone mad but rather tried to add mud build up and staining in the logical places. I'll add lighter tones next and do some more work on the base.
Thanks chaps, the model and base are now all finished after a light application of lighter tone pigments. I really enjoyed this kit, the fit was excellent as was the detail and it was refreshing to build something different as well. More pics in the gallery.
Once again----stunning finish and great looking figure. Very inspirational indeed.
