Oh, going paint? Yeah, baby! Still get PTSD from that SM.79 camo scheme I did on the Classic Airframes kit.

Well I completely missed this, a sneaky thing with wings eh!
I’m looking forward to seeing how you tackle that camo....although I have every confidence you’ll pull it off!

Ian, Marco, Si and Boots, cheers kindly fellas . I don't know what it is when I build these winged things, but they always seem to give me a fight . I have gotten the fuselage together, but boy did it take some persuading. Only the rear part is fixed solidly, the nose still needs sorting but I have get cowling ready first before it goes belly up on me. I also added the landing gear bay to the lower wing, holy crap did that need reinforcing . Cyano and talcum did the trick though, talcum because I didn't have any baking powder to hand . And I have just noticed that I have forgotten the seat belts , there's none in the kit so I have to make own, but it is still annoying that I forgot them . More as and when dudes

Nice work mate, I do find that hasegawa or even ex hasegawa kits always put up a fight with me. That's why I tend to stick to tamiya for wingy things

Pete I built the Hasegawa Mitchell in 1/72 many years ago, that was a great kit, no probs at all. So thought this would be the same. Thought bloody wrong then didn't I

This is coming along very nicely Paul I’ve found there’s a lot of variation in quality of kits from the same manufacturer and sometimes it’s hard to know what you’re buying!

Tommy, Steve, cheers chaps . Tommy it'll have to get a lot worse before I leave it to pass on . Steve, you're right there fella . If I remember rightly I also built the Stuka tank buster from them, that was also a dream and went together perfickly.

Well then, I love a challenge now and again and this certainly proving to be one . After gluing the wings together, I had to remove about 1mm from the trailing edge. This was just too long. Then I discovered the kit doesn't have the twin .50's above the engine, the holes are there but nuttin' to put in them. So out came the plastic card for the backing and two short pieces of 0.95mm syringe were added fro the guns . I then proceeded to add the wings to fuselage , feck me, nothing fits here at all . This is the first time I have had to use gaffer tape and heavy clamps to get the wings sort of in place. There's gonna be some heavy sanding needed when these have set . More tomoz chaps

Paul, looks like you are gaining the upper hand on this one. Nice touch with the .50s up top!
