Lanc, Handley Page Halifax...their growl gives me goosebumps. I think the Belgian Spit is stationed at the airfield near Gunfire museum. Btw a local Belgian minister is lobbying to keep the museum at Brasschaat where it is currently located, fingers crossed.

Guy, when we meet again you're gonna have to show me that airfield  . I sure hope that Gunfire remains where it is. Well, I'm terribly late again as always but I did go through this whole Thread, watching as this plane slowly came together. The wrestling match and the editorial play-by-play comments had me laughing; this is what it's all about. I also love those sexy Italian jobs and have tried to add as many of them in 1/72 scale to my collection too. Looking forward to seeing you painting that bird!
