Muchly appreciated Ian . I am going to close the fuselage up tomorrow. Still a little work needed on the intake, but I can't do that until all is in place

Before the fuselage can be closed up, I needed to sort out the engine exhaust. Now looking at my reference book again, I noticed that the exhaust has bands around the circumference and lengthwise also. These are missing on the kit parts, so I added the last two bands which are visible and the lengthwise ones also. After that I needed to mix up colour for the heated metal of the exhaust. This, I made up with Vallejo colours (black, burnt red and a tiny drop aluminium). Then once dry, it got a buffing with a graphite powder contaminated brush . The fan looks very dirty in the book, so this was primed with Vallejo rattle can German Grey and then a wash of Vallejo Aluminium was added. Time to close the fuselage up now

LOL Ian . I reckon it's you keeping me on my toes with your exquisite aircraft builds . That burner can looks awesome, looks like me needs some of those pigments . The office looks rather swish too ole chap . I am working on the front cockpit/instrument hood just now, will be back with an update later . Oh yes, when the fuselage is joined then a word of warning for part E2. It's a real PITA to fit, and could possibly split the halves above the burner can apart without a little sanding

Righto chaps, here's the small update from me . The fuselage is glued together and the seem cleaned up, well as far as I can tell before primer. The bang seat isn't glued in yet. Lesson learned from the Tucano, I added some lead to the nose just in case . I also completed the cover for the cockpit front/instrument panel. My PE part fro the HUD disintegrated , so I made new HUD from white stuff. I also added one or two other bits that are missing .
