Karih....that is some seriously fabulous etch, looks fantastic and a shame to hide it under paint , both pieces really are a work of art

More PE madness, This is really getting crazy! It looks like I chose the wrong model (or at least the PE sets) to start with. I am using 3,5x magnifying glasses but when you need to bend these small parts even that is not enough. That ring inside the red circle needed to be twisted 90 degrees in order to be like a sight for the AA gun. And my hand is just not steady enough when you need to glue these tiny pieces on an area that is smaller than 1 mm2. Any nice tips available? I found these ideas in the internet and it works a bit better than tweezers, but far from perfect. Also struggled a bit with my first air brushing. Bought Vallejo Model Colour paints for this model and started with 50/50 thinner paint but that was too thick. Now I am using 3 to 1 mix plus some drops of Vallejo Flow improver and it is much better. Should I use some other colours (I have plenty from Tamiya)?

Etch madness! Seriously amazing though, I would be a gibbering wreck by now as PE is not my fav thing.

Parts that small? I wouldn’t even bother.
Use water, not spit to pick up bits with a tooth pick. It’s a lot safer and healthier!
The main problem with parts that small - the glue is usually a bigger blob and the glue gets on the tooth pick and the PE part welds itself to the tooth pick.
I admire your perseverance immensely!!!!!!

I admire your perseverance immensely!!!!!! Exactly what happens: in most cases the bloody part is glued into the tooth pick. I think I just need to skip these smallest bastards until I get more experience.
