Marco, Guy, Joe, Robbo, Pete--thanks, gents! I made some progress on the TBM. I did some weathering on the plane and added various stains and leaks using oils. I also added some aluminum chipping to the leading edges of the control surfaces. The plane was then given a gloss coat of Pledge Floor care and after that I did the decal work. The decals are from an old Superscale sheet from '96 so I treated the sheet with Microscale Liquid Decal Film to restore the decals. The decals went on perfectly with no tearing or cracking. Next I will finish the subassemblies and put her back together.

Joe, Tommy---thanks, guys! Well, I got some matte varnish on the old girl and have started putting her back together. I added a drop of white to the flat coat to add some fading since this is a Pacific theater machine. Prop is on and now I am working on the clear parts (of which there are many

) so should have her wrapped up soon looking and spiffy again.
