Tried to get s start on the cam for this but it didn't quiet work  . I will need to revisit, probably with a hairystick to even it out.   Going out for brunch with the fam so hopefully it wont look so bad once I get back

Gardening done-well at least all I'm willing to do today, so a bit more on the painting front : pinwash to the hull welds and around hatches etc. and a bit of rust wash with grime to the turret race. Looking better than it was but still lots to sort.   Next up; details and a bit of chipping.

First bit of chipping . A bit heavy in places, but will take it back a bit with some negative chipping using the original sand.   Hull is a bit better than the shootybox but still early days

Very nice indeed, the chipping will tone down with weathering but I think it looks fine when you consider the use that it would have had.

Base-coat "negative" chipping has addressed some of the heaviest issues (to my eyes anyway).   Slowly onwards.

I'm gonna agree with Pete on that  . Considering the punishment this must have had, it looks darned fine to me  . I remember at the end of the 90's Duxford had some Yugoslav vehicles of this type, and they were certainly well worn.
