What does a diabetic have for Easter? Why, a box of styrene, of course... A less common variant, but looking inside the box, should be reasonably straight forward. Some flash in places, but nothing too excessive and all easily cleaned up. Looking for something other than olive drab as a finish, I came across this: An Iranian vehicle (I believe captured,during the Iran-Iraq war) . Might not be the final result, but will serve as inspiration.

Got a start this evening,the ubiquitous death by running gear. No problems to report thus far. Hull looks like it should go together without too much of a problem The turret on the other hand...I've ordered the Tankograd tech manual to help with a VERY sparse innards for the main office. A bit of work will be required 😉

Nice vehicle choice.
Considering I'm in the homeward stretch of a M4a3 build and approaching the turn on a M36, I'd be interested in seeing how you address its lack of interior.

Tech manual will help- I hope. Also spending a lot of time looking at blogs etc for some ideas. Possibly taken on a bit more that I'd originally thought when I bought it

Wet bank holiday progress; running gear wasn't that tedious, but dry fitting of hull tub and top suggests a bit of filler might be needed. . Forever onwards and sidewards fellow crab-lovers

should have access to a decent stock of white stuff to get a start on someturret details by tomorrow. most of the non-delicate stuff has now been done so nothing else to report on this one. A question though: I am assuming the internals will have a sand tone finish rather than OD given the open-topped nature of the turret?

I would say O/D mate, reason being it would be a hell of a job taking out all the gubbins to re spray also I would not think the iranians would have been that bothered about that

Really should have done the research before starting the build... apoart from the crew seats, the only right side "detail" provided is the Azimuth indicator freeimagehostingvs what the tech manual shows as a basic/naked fit-out;
