Thanks Ian........funny enough i`m finding it a bit odd to do at the mo!!, not the build itself but the fact of getting used to somat clean.....although most of the paint here is finished in my mind i feel somat`s not right and i`ve missed about 5 stages

Cheers Tommy The Queen concert was absolutely fantastic mate......i was fortunate enough to be a couple of rows back from the stage.......the lads looked like they could have been in my living room they were that close, some great footage of `Freddie` was cleverly included and Roger Taylor did a tribute to Taylor Hawkins from the Foo fighters (RIP). Worth every penny!!

Well....after a big scary moment with a major fit issue i`m now back in the saddle so to speak, i`ve masked off and applied the Light blue alongside the Dark........this is just an experimental colour, the real car was done in `Arcadian Blue` and is the same colour used on the very early Ford Mustangs etc, it`s not an available colour in the model world but i dare say a good automotive paint stockists would have it......but it think it`s an easy enough colour to replicate with what i have so the Light Blue needs to go lighter yet, i`ll leave as is for the mo and adjust it with the main body on....that way i ain`t gotta mask loads of the interior up.
I`m not gonna be leaving it this clean......i just can`t!, i have video footage of this actual vehicle which is in the Shelby museum on loan from the family who own it........it`s not all shiny and restored but a car that has been used.........the instructions call out for Titanium colour for the engine block or gold for the top of the engine etc........it isn`t!!!
Anyhoo.......looks a bit lego at this stage but with the engine in and the body panels on will change that

The major fit issue is for next time

Thanks Marco......i don`t particularly like this part of a build with cars, the interiors always look boxy.....be a different ball game once the panels go on
