This kit has been keeping awake for a couple of weeks now . The darned thing kept shouting from stash, that was high time for a nasty piece of heavy metal . The title on the box says that this is a late version, but it's not really that late at all. The main things I need to change or add are: Crew heating system on the engine deck Stowage box on the left of the casematt will be left off Cooling/ventilation pipes on the exhausts will be left off New exhaust (flammenvernichter) will be added Additional ventilator on the rear deck ... .. . Still, this is a good starting point for a December 1944 and onwards, produced vehicle Naturally I shall through some AM stuff at it, which I just happened to have on my pin board

AM parts! Good! I'm the first one here to watch with attention. I'd never used metal tracks, I think they're a bit expensive. The final result is splendid, but they need tons of work, don't they?

Welcome Marco-bro . The metal tracks are worlds ahead of any kit tracks . But, as you say they are pricey, even more so now . You can still find some at old prices though, difficult but they are still out there. Work wise, well they do have cast in holes, but these need drilling out and then, you have to add a pin to join them. I reckon I need about 2 hours to get them together, but they are well worth it in the end . Torsion bars and swing arms are in place and yes, these are workable. So there might be a small dio at the end of this one

I prefer the magic tracks Now those were also good, just a shame Dragon went down the saving road and dropped them, along with the metal gun barrels also

Have fun with this kit my good neighbour, it will build into a stunning model. I'm still boycotting Dragon by no longer buying kits from them for a well known reason (o yes, the manuals).

Great choice with the Jagdpanther, Paul! Actually this is one of Dragon's better kits and the instructions are not that bad. But, like you said above, some things still have to get tweaked in the kit. I did the Normandy Special Edition which was an "Early Version" but they still did not get some of the details right.

Oh wow, a JagdPanther! Although I'm a big Tiggynut, I think that the JP is the most sexy piece of armour ever been built...especially WWII. I built this very kit once and it really is a great piece of kit. Looking forward to see you do your magic mate! One front seat more taken now...

Very nice! And as you used German grey on the Magach, you will probably use the IDF sand grey on this one?

Must of been an intimidating sight to see on the battlefield. Built Mengs JP a while back but messed up the paintwork……look forward to see you do your thing

Wow, didn't think I would get this much attention . Welcome chaps . I did a little more today, rear hull stowage bins, radiators and fans, mantlet cover and coax are in place. Next I shall have to prime and paint the radiator parts and then, these will be masked off so I can add the upper hull.
