Thank you kindly chaps  . There is nothing wrong with the etch if you wish to build an early version . But me being picky and choosing a very late version, I needed 4 of the small type engine grilles . On the left is the kit etch, and you can see there are only two of the small type grille cover.  Anyway, the stuff is now in place and I can move on again   |

Thank you Paul, was the 42 used in German panzers? Sorry for the late reply Guy, I only just remembered you asking this. As far as I know, all secondary armament on German WWII armoured vehicles (Tanks) had the MG34. Doesn't matter if it was the hull ball mount, or the coax next to the main gun. Exemptions were the Panzer 38t's which had MG37's, and the fake Tiger 1 in Kellys Heroes which had an MG42   |

After painting the inside black, because I don't know yet if I want to have a figure or two in the hatches , I got the upper hull joined up with the lower . I also started work on the welds   |

The welds look good, Paul. A lot better than,Tacker Sid. He was a welder I worked with in the dockyard many moons ago. He would weld a stanchion in place, pull on it to see how strong it was. Only for it to come off in his hand. |
