I made some more progress on the Shot and this is really a sweet build which is nice after muddling my way through these last few Dragon projects. I got the suspension installed and it's much like the AFV Club Centurion with metal springs in each bogey. I then got the upper hull installed and that was a perfect fit. I did add styrene shims to blank off the underside of the sponsons to cover up the punch marks and a large open area. I used Frog Tape to cover the underside of the front fenders since there were punch marks there as well. The tape worked better there since the fenders have an angle on them and the tape shims are flexible. They were then sealed with ultra thin CA glue. I got the turret basket installed and the kit PE fit great. All the grey areas are the 3D printed parts from Amusing and everything else is PE. They also supply the actual phone that goes in the phone box for the infantry on the rear hull which I thought was pretty cool. I just have to add all the detail parts to the upper hull now.
