Thanks, Joe! I made some more progress on the Shot. A very nice kit thus far and the only thing lacking was a mantlet cover. I was kind of in the same boat as Paul with his M-48 on this. I decided to go with a scratchbuilt cover made from tissue. I placed some modeling clay down first so that would support the tissue from underneath. I added some wrinkles to the clay and then I placed the tissue cover on top of that. Amusing did mold on the frame that the cover would attach to so I just had to line up the edges of the cover with the frame. A mixture of water and Gorilla Wood Glue was used to form the cover. I also started work on the side sponsons and the front glacis plate. Amusing provides a nice 3D printed glacis plate to depict the extra front armor on the Shot version. There's also lots of nice photo etch add-ons in the kit as well. The barrel is seamless, which is nice. The outer barrel and fume extractor are separate pieces and these attach to the grey colored inner barrel which is also 3D printed, courtesy of Amusing.
