I have started the weathering and chipping and I found some great photos of Shots from the '73 war in Simon Dunstan's "Mechanized Warfare" book. (huge book with fantastic armor pics from numerous conflicts). I did a lot of chipping and scratches around the hatches, engine deck and also around the side skirts. I used various Vallejo shades such as Chocolate Brown, Dark Rubber, Smoke and Dark Rust for the chips and scratches. Almost ready for some pigments.

Marco, Steve----thanks, gents! I added the finishing touches to the upper hull. I added the spare tracks and holders to the front glacis along with the PE fender brackets. The spare tracks were painted with Vallejo Track Primer and then given a dark wash of thinned Vallejo Chocolate Brown. I then added a filter to the tracks by brushing on a lightened shade of the Track Primer which had been tinted with Vallejo Iraqi Yellow (thank you Mr. Night Shift

). I also finished up the wheels. These were given a heavy wash of Pledge Floor Care tinted with Acryl Flat Black to create depth. I then added another highlight wash of diluted Vallejo Chocolate Brown. I then added some scuffs and dings to the wheels using Vallejo Black Brown applied with a kitchen sponge. I also got some stowage items picked out, most of which came from Value Gear which is very nice. These items have been primed and are ready for paint.
