Hi peoples, my choice for this group build will be the Hasegawa Shinden or Shinden-kai. The Shinden was developed towards the end of WWII. One aircraft was completed in June '45 and flown on the 3rd,6th and 8th of August. Total flying time was around 45 minutes and it is not known if combat took place, probably not. The Shinden was a prop driven aircraft, the Shinden-Kai wasa proposed to have a jet engine. Both types can built with the kit parts, but I haven't yet decided which way to go.

Sorry to keep you all waiting chaps, but'I have now started the beast and I will finish this on time I was a little disappointed when I opened the bags today, the aircraft has raised panel lines . So I guess this is going to be a learning curve in how to scribe aircraft panel lines . Anyway, first things first, the cockpit tub, inside fuselage sides and smaller office parts have been primed. Also the the seat, tub, side walls and pedals have been treated to Vallejo Aluminium, this will be hair sprayed next and then, the interior green will be added and chipped as required. The instrument panel received a coat of Tamiya X-1 shiny black, so I can add the decal to that shortly .

Nice one ,Paul. I've scribed a few bits and pieces. I found the Hasegawa tool the best. It was nice and thin.

Cheers Joe . I have also scribed small pieces before, but nothing more than maybe 5mm , so rescribing an entire aircraft will be challenge, specially since I can't find my scribing tape

Scribing tape! I forgot I had that! I think I put a test piece on MHO to try it out.

I described an old Airfix 1\72 Defiant years ago. It's amazing how quickly it comes together. You'll be fine matey
