Is that Tamiya fine primer you used, Paul. I find it very good. You've made a good job of your primer coat.

That looks very good to my eye. A few years ago (about 20!). I saw a Zero fuselage on display at the Imperial War Museum in London. I think it was in the wing root area, I noticed the Aotake coating.

oh wow, that's a nice shade of aotake. Well done mate. I found it also interesting to read about this primer. Actually quite strange that - because it being far mor superior in comparison with other primers - it isn't used so widespread...one would think that like in the automotive industry it would be interesting for the companies to use a primer which protects the bodywork well.
