Bootsey: yeah we go a long way eh . I always try to raise the bar, sometimes you win, a lot of times you fail I reckon. The great thing about these side projects though is they keep you fresh and running. No mojo loss here, only loss of time sometimes LOL

Steve, that's cool mate. How come your family has a coat of arms, are you of noble birth, Sir? Yeah, lots of rampant lions in the Midieval period. Though the origins of the Flemish Lion are a bit dubious, since in the early times of heraldry references to the Lion went from being a lion or even a panther.

Still, would have been the sight: the Matthews coat of arms against the King of England, and meanwhile the English supporting the Flemish against the French crown ^^

Well, the odd three months later and I can finally say this first unit is finished. Groundwork has been taken care of, and the knights on their steeds are in place. I also painted some text on the backside of the base. It isn't perfectly centered and all but in the end I'm quite happy how this turned out, and I really had fun doing this.








So...now I need to pick another unit to paint
